That School, My Alma Mater
It's been a while since I last actually put down a blog eh? Well, today I spent a chunk of the morning going around doing errands from CV to Oakland to Dublin and Pleasanton and back. Break has been pretty chill. I spent most of the time just relaxing from all the school stuff from last quarter. And after all that, I went to the HS for the first time since...the last time..

I parked in the spot that was actually for the car that I of the staff spots, then proceeded to walk toward what was once the drama building, but instead I was presented with a large green gate. My first impression was how it resembled a jail. However, after getting past the gate, the new renovated courtyard was quite nice. It is now a lot larger and looks cleaner. Despite previous reports, I found that the tree I used to hang out is still up and was not taken down, but the two trees where the "cool senior kids of the year" hung out is not gone.

Among the people I saw, the first was one I saw was none other than Laura. I was heading in, while she was heading out. It was great to see her again after so long! Charles was also there, and he's the same I guy as I used to know him, haha. Then, I saw Louisa and Tim. Inside at the badminton game, I saw Leona again since I don't even remember when the last time I saw her, but geez she's a Junior already (although I thought she was a senior already...being a leader and all for the team haha). We chatted it up a bit after her match. She misses all the badminton players from our year! aww how sweet. And among the others that I saw and talked to a bit included Caroline and Rachel.

As you can see...that isn't a lot of names I've listed. The team is full of new faces and they seem to be doing arite. It looks like a rebuilding year...then again that's how it was the past few years, haha. Anyway, it was nice seeing the people I haven't seen in a while. Good luck with the rest of HS. ;)

Go Felix!
I mean, Dr. Felix Ling, MD (not yet, but close enough!). Congrats on moving on to the next step of your career at Loyola University, as well as the others that will be joining you there.

I'll try to keep doing my best to try to get near that goal!

Some Cal Aggie Loving
So I was reading the UC Davis campus newspaper the California Aggie, and I came across a column that I would like to say "amen, word" to. This is the article by Quynh Nguyen.

"A panel of hot male resident advisors revealed that men would prefer earnest communication over little games and hint systems." <-- that is the quote that I was practically saying DAMN STRAIGHT to myself in my head when I was reading it. It's nothing but the truth.

The Sun is Out to Play
A little flavor of the summer weather has begun, and it is really nice right now. It'd be great if it stayed this way, but the inevitable super hot heatwaves here in Davis are approaching quickly. As far as what's been going on, I can say that midterms are now officially done with, and in a week finals will be here, then it'll be a nice one week spring break. It'll be the first time I go back home since winter break!

Right now, I'm finishing up my second to last chemistry lab of the quarter. I would also like to note for the record that chem labs are a waste of time and does not help me learn the material involving the subjects we learn in chemistry.

Oh yes, and how can any guy forget that when the sun is out and the weather is hot, the girls are out struttin' their stuff and making them gawk and drool. haha. It's spring time, go have some fun.
